Situated in New York City, the SoHo Synagogue blends urban contemporary life with spiritual tradition. Through an abstract approach to design, Dror’s goal was to make religious practice more accessible while retaining fundamental meanings.

"I intended for the SoHo Synagogue to be an inspiring, creative shelter to bring a new light onto the religious traditions." - Dror Benshetrit

Through intricate details, abstract symbolism, and light, the space evokes continuity and innovation. The circular geometric doors of the Torah ark can be closed to reveal the Star of David. The exposed bulbs in the interior space generate a warm atmosphere, welcoming worshippers and visitors alike. Many view this synagogue as a creative sanctuary, a place for the generations to come.
