The small oratory is designed as a retreat from the main chapel for intimate meditation and prayer. Framed by the natural environment, the space offers a moment of silence and reflection. Whilst the concrete materiality encapsulates the space, offering a sense of safety and protection, the wood embraces visitors, welcoming them into the chapel. Dapples of light and air filter through openings, subtly revealing elements of the outside world. The chapel becomes a sanctuary of harmony. A harmony of silence, nature, and solitude.
